Basic Retriever Training: This program has been developed to thoroughly engrain the obedience of your basic commands into the dog’s vocabulary while always looking forward to how each individual dog’s personality will evolve and transition these commands to the field. More... Head Start Program: Our puppy head-start program has been designed to develop instincts and teach the pup how to learn. More... Hunt Test Handling Services: Bear Creek on the Bayou also provides the service of handling retrievers in UKC & AKC hunt tests. With 12 plus years in the hunt test game we have handled dogs to over 250 titles in the UKC and with moderate participation over 100 AKC titles. More... One on One: Bear Creek also provides a One on One program that caters to the owner wishing to train his or her own retriever but recognizes the need for professional guidance. More... Rebuilding: On occasion we will take on dogs that were started or what we call ‘book trained’ then the owner finds that there are restraints such as hurdles that the dog is not overcoming because the owner lacks the experience, time or patience to troubleshoot the problems. More... Tuneups: After you have a trained retriever you certainly want to maintain their education if not advance it. We have a maintenance and tune up program to help keep your companion sharp. More... Advanced Retriever Training: Our advanced program is a continuation of our Basic Handling program with more distance and more complex blinds and marking. More...
